NCMEC’s CyberTipline received 21.3 million reports in 2025. This is not a global total of child exploitation incidents.
Annual reporting changes can be influenced by legal, platform and reporting-policy changes. NCMEC notes that the 2025 changes in online enticement and child sex trafficking reporting were affected in part by expanded U.S. REPORT Act requirements.
